THE AUTUMN OF TOMORROW

Published December 13, 2012 by Yassmin Elnazer

Usually we look at our past as an autumn tree old with yellow leaves but how it feels when one looks at their future as a tree on autumn waiting for all its’ leaves to fall and its’ stem to get dry ,waiting for all the signs of life to be sucked from it and all its’ beauty to vanish without trace how sad it is when one can’t seem to see anything on the path of the future but old trees with yellow leaves and the signs of autumn waiting for a heavy winter ahead how hard it feels when the future of your country looks like that and you are the one who thought spring was born and warm summer full of blossoms ahead? it’s bitter when you’re only waiting for the autumn of tomorrow
